Pastor Bruce Headley prays intensely with a young man.
After a tremendous sermon, young men came forward to have Pastor Headley pray with them as they seek spiritual guidance.
This folks, is what academy is all about. Young men coming to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Men praying with boys, boys praying with boys, and yes boys praying with men. Young men rededicating their lives to Jesus Christ. All the other things we do at academy are to help the boys cope with life and its challenges. The greatest challenge any of us face, is serving Jesus on a day-to-day basis.
As Pastor Headley prays, you may notice a lot of folks with green shirts on. These are the young men of the Special Forces Corps who have helped with the productions. After working many hours to prepare the production and set the tone for the speaker, they are once again called upon as prayer warriors and alter workers. Here they are seen sharing in the "fruits of their labor".
