As the corps commander and his staff have done for so many years, they again take their trainees through the grueling paces of hiking and backpacking the Kasatchie National Forest.

 It's Friday morning and the week is almost over. These young men are appearing for the first time at morning assembly. They look tired, but have smiles on their faces as the completion of one of the toughest and most vital corps is almost over.

The corps commander has to demonstrate the fine art of lining up correctly in formation. This is not as easy as it looks carrying all the gear they have on their backs.
